Frankenmuth Living was founded in 2018 as a partnership between the City, Schools, and Chamber of Commerce. The partnership expanded in 2023 to include the Library.

This collaborative community effort began as a quarterly publication to local residents within the Frankenmuth School District, including School of Choice Families and all businesses within the Chamber. It has evolved to include an online presence, via Facebook and FrankenmuthLiving.com, for improved connection and communication among local residents, businesses, and community organizations.
